Kragen, Thanks, but it doesn't appear to me this program violates the cTool license. - it doesn't appear to me to be proprietary, its available as source code from source-forge. - The license file clearly states brcc is derived from cTool, and supplies full source for it, and its original license file. Also, I've recently been convinced to convert the license to LGPL for the benefit of Synopsis: http://synopsis.sourceforge.net/ I hadn't done any of the paperwork yet, cuz I'm a slacker - but now I've changed the cTool license on sourceforge to accurately reflect the current license information. The license for the original cTool package, (which didn't use the GPL) had an exemption for research / universities anyhow, since I personally know how difficult it can be to get a university to waive what its sees as its rights.
