-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, consider this example: I have a text-buffer that needs multiple ctags-parses, say 10 or more every 60 seconds in the worst case. It's obvious that flushing the text-buffer on a temporary file every time gives a bad perfomance... and I don't want to follow this way. I was wondering if it would be possibile to use a modified ctags to work with memory buffers instead of with file-descriptors. IMHO the "big work" should be on read.c, changing the fgetc and similar functions to manage a text-buffer. Am I right? Anyone has a better idea? thanks in advance and regards, Massimo -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEOszkFa1SLMUFyowRAv0yAKCCIawUgjVISkfjQ3M4nX+lwTGBAACfZ95m QHIzvLxg3yElGQbBouZLomo= =skXw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
