Hi everybody, OK, I created a new patch for ctags this weekend for everybody that uses it in the other scripts (i.e vim or emacs). Previously I've had to hard code into my scripts what languages ctags supports and what tags are supported for each language. Needless to say it was boring and highly redundant. So this weekend I wrote a patch to create --list-languages and --list-kinds=<language>. Both output simple lists without headers and one item per line for easily inclusion into scripts. You can find the diff file at: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=306556&group_id=6556&func=browse If anyone is interested and would like to test it, I would appreciate any feedback that you have.
