Exuberant Ctags 5.3, Copyright (C) 1996-2002 Darren Hiebert Compiled: Jul 17 2002, 19:00:48 Addresses: <dhi...@us...>, http://ctags.sourceforge.net Optional compiled features: +win32, +regex, +internal-sort W2K I am trying to follow this example on the website: http://ctags.sourceforge.net/EXTENDING.html Creating a user-defined language The quickest and easiest way to do this is by defining a new language using the program options. In order to have Swine support available every time I start ctags, I will place the following lines into the file $HOME/.ctags, which is read in every time ctags starts: --langdef=swine --langmap=swine:.swn --regex-swine=/^def[ \t]*([a-zA-Z0-9_]+)/\1/d,definition/ When I try the following I get an error: ctags.exe -f - -e -V --langdef=sql --langmap=sql:.sql --language-force=sql --regex-sql=/procedure[ \t]+(.*)/\1/n,name/i dave.sql Option: --langdef=sql Option: --langmap=sql:.sql Setting sql language map: .sql Option: --language-force=sql Option: --regex-sql=/procedure[ ctags.exe: Warning: procedure[: incomplete regexp Reading command line arguments OPENING dave.sql as sql language file Anytime I attempt to use ['s I get this error: [: incomplete regexp Any ideas? Thanks, Dave |
