Thanks. Just had a quick glance at the NEdit implementation and I think I'll give it a spin. Btw, I'm writing the TextPad add-in in C++ (my native tongue), but the tagging is currently used for mostly Java source. Does it make sense to make a portable library for this kind of stuff? Maybe it makes more sense to define an XML schema that can searched by XML libraries (SAX, XMLDOM)? This is related to an earlier thread about generating XML from tags.
