#34 support multiple tables

Martin Roberts, in his support request https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3090431&group_id=17973&atid=217973 implicitly requested support for (joining between) multiple tables.
currently this is not available and I have no plans to do it in a nearby future, so I simply note the request here.
