I'm almost sure it'll work under X with the apropiated packages.

No need to make a variant as it's exactly the same app.

Upsh! I've got my brother to check it as I can't read japanese also :)

I just know some basic katakana ( that's why I tell you about to write
"ga ge gi" as It's what I do :P ).

ITOH some native japanese speakers have been testing it.
