So you've got the input method program included in the system then. But a IM is needed to write asian always. The only difference is I must download it separately, and you've got it included in your system. Could you test if it works on cssed ? I mean *in* cssed, as your IM should you change the text on the document on the fly (it's how it works now in cssed), no if it let you choose a kanji and write it on any document.
