As for the problem of only one line printed, you could check how it is=20=

handled by my script findininfo (in $home/bin) and on the website=20

Readline, mg_readline, etc...

I think the problem is the end of line is never sent to the pipe, so=20
the buffer is not dumped on to the screen, I can see it, because the=20
grep command is always pending.

It may gives you hints.
