[Cscope-devel] How to build cscope?

Hi,
I cloned cscope with "git clone https://git.code.sf.net/p/cscope/cscope" and now I'd like to know how to build a local copy on my Ubuntu machine.

The README file says to look in the INSTALL file - but I don't see one. I also don't see a "configure" script that I might expect to run.
How do I configure and build cscope from source?
