Hi: Moving to Eclipse 4.2 and git at the same time would make some sense because that way you don't have to bother with installing the Mercurial support into the new IDE. At the SNS we just finished a product update. We could start to look at 4.2, but at the same time there should also beam line work come up, which is quite likely to require more tweak to the SNS product, BOY, scan system, all with Eclipse 3.7.2. So waiting until end of August would actually not be a big problem.
