I think it's a large enough part of CS to have its own section outside of 'miscellaneous.' I'm able and willing to do it. I would prefer not to lean towards any specific language. I am about to finish work on a csPerl plugin. The ethos of CS is modularity and portability. I think it is a mistake for any CS application to attach itsself to one scripting language if it uses scripting. It will soon be easy to allow CS to choose for you which plugin to use to interpret each script, for it will auto-detect the file type (that's my plan anyway). I don't like Python.
