Hello, I am a bit new to using the cryptix API and have a small problem. I am getting a"java.lang.SecurityException: Unsupported keysize or algorithm parameters" when I try to decrypt a file. I did look up the forums and saw a couple of mails on the forum saying I should download the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction policy files. But I see releases only for java 1.4.2 .Our admin server runs JVM 1.3.1 and I was wondering if it would be ok if I downloaded the release for this version. The reason I did not try to update the JVM on the server is because I was wondering if that might create any problems with the download applets we have running. I did find a JCE release for JVM 1.2, but I wasn't sure if that would work either. It might be surprising that I'm thinking twice before updating our JVM, but is there anyway I can still do this without the JVM update What do you think I should do about this? =20 =20 Thanks in advance for your help Nishanth |
