After the screen saver has been running, we've seen that the project status stops updating. the "balls" are stuck on some prior state.

switching status task to java.util.concurrent and altering DEBUG logging to not flood with buildstatus updates. Two fold. hopefully switching to java.util.concurrent will fix it. But by not flooding the debug log, hopefully I can see the error in the log when the status task stops running.
