1. property and propertyOnDelete are used (if the sourcecontrol implements them) to specify the property to pass along to Ant if modifications (or deletions) are detected. So an example might be: <modificationset> <vss vsspath="/Project/subprojectA" property="a.changed" propertyOnDelete="a.has.deletion" ... /> <vss vsspath="/Project/subprojectB" property="b.changed" propertyOnDelete="b.has.deletion" ... /> </modificaitonset> Then in the Ant script you might do something where you use the properties to only pull the subprojects that changed, and if there's a deletion you might do a clean pull. Or something like that. 3. I put added the UOException so if someone tried to use the attributes in their config.xml it would be obvious that they aren't yet supported. Subject: [Cruisecontrol-devel] SourceControl.setProperty Hi 1. Can anyone explain to me the purpose of public void setProperty(String property); public void setPropertyOnDelete(String property); on the interface SourceControl.java? 2. I did not find any usages of these two methods except in test classes?? 3. SVN.java throws UnsupportedOperationException in these two methods?? Hopefully, an answer to question 1 will solve my confusion with 2 and 3 as well. Thanks for your support!
