Several maps such as the guilds, the scorn pass office,
the azumauindo entrance, the CDC vaults and some others
are relying on map resets or on complex map tricks such
as "conveyor belts" in order to provide keys or passes
to the player.
These tricks are not necessary anymore. Instead, a
"creator" archetype should be used, including the
key/pass in its inventory and having "lifesave 1" in
order to have no limit on the number of objects that it
can create.
This would greatly simplify the maps because the
conveyor belts would not be necessary anymore and could
be replaced by a single creator placed below the floor.
For the guilds, Leaf pointed out that requiring a map
reset has the interesting side effect that it prevents
some disgruntled guild member from creating a lot of
keys and handing them out to anyone, making the guild
open to be robbed. However, requiring a map reset is
not the right way to solve this problem and this has
confused some players who did not get the key that they
expected. Some abuses could be avoided by adding some
other control mechanism for creating the keys that
would not rely on map resets. For example, the
creation of keys would only be allowed for the 3
initial owners of the guild, or there could be some
temporary mark set on the player that creates a key and
that would prevent him from using the altar again for a
day, etc.

Note that new guild mechamisn uses Python scripts, thus that
behaviour could easily be fixed.

The hardest part will be to find all maps using that trick :)
