#278 Holy Word resistance added to bless/holy possession?

In chat, one of the players brought this up:
"What do you guys think about adding holy word resistance to bless/holy possession?
Nowadays a lot of monsters use rod of banishment lvl 110 and that is very harsh for a wraith player
There is literally no time for reaction when something fires 110 banishment
A bit unfair."
And someone replied: "It'd make sense, your god is protecting you in whatever divine way it can."

Holy possession gives resistance against god power, which is already extremely useful (it's I think the only way to get such resistance). The spell can be found in prayer books, so I'm not sure it'd be great to also add holy word protection to it.

Apparently there is only one item giving holy word protection.

I think a good way to fix that issue would be 1) to reduce the probability of such high level rods (supposing the area isn't too high level of course), and 2) add more ways to get holy word protection.

(Have we fixed the issue with overpowered rods and staffs, where they cast a level 110 spell as though it's WIS 110? We should fix that problem before addressing this balance issue.)

Here is a copy of a discussion offering a solution proposal:

W: My proposition. Add new spell: protection from holy word working as every other protection from spell. It should be available in scrolls. Add new potion granting the same effect as spell. Can be called potion of holy resistance.

B: I think that only work for certain races. If you were elf or human would that do anything?

W: It will protect elves from banishment/holy word of Gnarg. The same for dwarf

B: When a demon casts holy word, does it have a pantheon? From a wand

W: It does. For humans it could be useful while worshiping Devourers

B: Yeah undead would definitely help
