Trying to compile r20721 of the server on Ubuntu Bionic results in the following problem. Was a file missed on the commit?
Server r20720 compiles and runs without issues or problems.

It should be generated from a perl script on build. Did you re-run the scripts that generate the Makefiles from Makefile.am?
I am runing ./configure && make && sudo make install
During the 'make' step is when I encounter the alert about missing arch_types_valid.c
Is there now an additional step to compiling the server?
I think the configure step only generates from the Makefile.in level.
I had to run autogen.sh to get the updates from Makefile.am to propagate.
Running autogen.sh is not working for me on my "old" local test server and on a brand new install of Ubuntu Bionic. Still the same error or problem with "arch_types_valid.c: No such file or directory"

Hmm...
Just tried the same in a server that I hadn't built the code in, and it did as you describe.
I'm going to guess there's a source dependency problem, e.g. arch.c is building too early.
I refactored how the generated code is being put into the project and it is looking like it works.
Just need to reconcile the changes in my sandbox with what needs to change in my svn-linked version.
Should be fixed in r20728.
Confirmed that the changes in 20728 fixes the problem for me.
Thank you.
Sounds like the issue is resolved, then.
Closing ticket.
