#37 cr3 stopped working - why?

I have a dell inspiron 64bit win 7 laptop. I has been using cr3-qt-win32-3.0.56-42 alongside calibre with very few problems for a few years. Nice and basic, nothing special, only used for quick but regular reading or browsing a book. Suddenly a couple of months ago, I could no longer open any of my epubs with cr3. No error messagen no pop up, it just stopped working, nothing happens. I can still default to it, but it just doesn't do anything. I have DL again from this website, and still nothing eveb though I have the files in my c-drive. They don't show on my registry though or under the my programmes of control panel.

I have since been using sumatra, but am increasing frustrated that I much prefer the look of cr3 and just don't know what went wrong with it.

Can someone help please, with little to no coding talk as I am not a teccie.
