First of all: thanks for coolreader! It is in my opinion the best ebook reader programm on the market and I usually enjoy using it a lot.
I am using Coolreader on a rooted Nook Glowlight eInk device (so: I use the Android version of coolreader).
But I need a bit of your help, please:
Today I did an update via google market to the newest version (3.1.2-39) ... it did say the "user data will be saved" somewhere... but after the update coolreader seems to have completely forgotten my list of recent books and also when I open an ebook which I have been reading and bookmarking in before - all bookmarks seem to be forgotten to coolreader!
My question: Is there any way I can make coolreader "remember" my pre-update recent-books-list and bookmarks? I have made a complete backup of the ".cr3"-directory a day before the update... so theoretically I should have all the necessary data available still.
The problem is, the new version seems not to use the .cr3-directory any more?! Just copying back my pre-update-backup of the .cr3-directory did not solve the problem.
Thanks for any help recovering my bookmarks and recent-books-list.
Solved it myself...
For whichever reason, coolreader on Android now seems to expect it's .cr3-directory to reside under /media ... so I copied my backup to that place and all is well again.
