How to set them? I see only how to go to a bookmark if you've created one, but now HOW to create one. I'm on Windows, not a touchscreen.

I'm using Cool Reader on my Windows 7 laptop and this works for me.

Place your mouse pointer over the first word of the text you want displayed in your bookmark and press and hold the left mouse button. After a moment the word will become highlighted.

Continue holding the left mouse button and drag to select the rest of the text you want to appear in your bookmark.

Release the mouse button and a menu with the optios "Copy", "Add bookmark" & "Read Aloud" will appear.

Click just just below the "Add bookmark" icon in the center of the menu to create your bookmark (clicking on the icon drops me into the Cool Reader manual for some reason). You won't get any confirmation, but the menu will disappear.

Now when you click the Bookmarks tool there should be a new bookmark with your selected text.
