Similiar issue.
Recent (today's git) qt4 build.
CoolReader3 opens cyrilically-named file on my GNU/Linux ru_RU.UTF8 localized box.

But trying to open zip-archive, containing this file fails with error message:

Error while opening document /tmp/example.fb2.zip
