It'd be nice to have a description about the critter. You don't have to change your design, just flush it out a bit. Here's some questions that may help.
What are those things in the front of it's head?
How does it move? run, hop?
Do they help it eat?
Are those trunks or mouths?
Is that a butt spike or a tail?
Is it semi-aquatic? If not why does it have fins?
Are those fins?
