After all there is the desktop standard http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/menu-spec. But I have to admit that not all categories worked here as expected either. As Robert Metcalfe once said... "Standards are great. Everybody should have one." :) Btw, on Debian gvim is also in "Categories=Application;Utility;TextEditor;" Christoph |
