First of all, is it possible to add stuff like "book with a gilt top" to
the list of (normal) spellbook appearances? It deviates from the
@adjective "spellbook" formula.
Next, should randart books be visibly different (i.e. by appearance) from
normal spellbooks? I think that their proper title ("Foundations of Ice
Magic" or so) should only be revealed after reading, just like it is for
normal books.
If we go with visibly different, then we would need two types of randart
book descriptors: one for the unidentified version, and another for one
the known book. I am torn on this question...
Finally, a question about

These are for randart books _only_?

For randart books of fixed level, I would suggest to have ranges of spell
levels and appropriate entries. E.g.
%%%%
level 1-2 book
"@book_magic@ 101"
"Easy @book_magic@"
"Introduction to @book_magic@"
"Foundations of @book_magic@"
%%%%
level 2-3 book
"@book_magic@ in Simple Steps"
"Foundations of @book_magic@"
"Guide to @book_magic@"
"Apprentice's @book_magic@"
%%%%
level 3-4 book
....
%%%%
level 7-9 book
"Last Secrets of @book_magic@"
"Dark Secrets of @book_magic@"
"Mastering the Arcane"
etc. I can come up with more -- my poing being that the level book entries
should be grouped by level.
