That was just an example to stimulate brainstorming, but a value-in-potions times a constant to value-in-charges would be easy to do: using a multiplier of 2 would turn one potion of cure mutation into one charge of a wand of healing or three charges of a wand of digging. Also, moving around charges between wands would be a good idea for a class that was supposed to make good use of them, at least between wands of the same type so you'd only need to carry one wand of each type. -- Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
