[Cppcms-users] Can SSL be bolted onto cppcms?

Hello,

I notice that SSL connections are still a TODO on this page:
http://cppcms.com/wikipp/en/page/cppcms_1x_tasks#Implement.HTTPS.support

In lieu of the implementation of that task, is there a way to bolt on
SSL using some other program to tunnel HTTP through SSL?  If that were
possible, would it just as good?
