That is interesting. The other missing option was -pthread to get compiled
and linked against pthreads in non-standard /usr/local location.

Because I had problems with release version so I thought I give trunk a
try. I tried with clang as well, but that does not work as well. I may try
whatever compilation combination you like on this FreeBSD 9 I have access
to.

OK. Port gives some hint.
Current results:
Total Test time (real) = 297.70 sec

The following tests FAILED:
      3 - storage_test (Failed)
      7 - cache_backend_test (Failed)
     23 - http_timeouts_test_write (Failed)
Errors while running CTest
*** Error code 8

Tested without -rdynamic yet.
