Hi, while using the option '--rule-file', seems that only one xml file can be used one time. But we can't pass all the rule files under a folder to the cppcheck. There are some examples of rules under cppcheck/rules of the cppcheck project. If we have many more rules for regular checking, it will be easier to be used while a folder can be accessed.
