iam use cppcheck 2.8 windows
but issue seems relate to any past version
so
look to pic
progess bar show 32%(158 of 185 files checked)

more then half files checked but still 32% ?

Imagine you have 1MB source code. When 320kB has been checked the progress bar says 32% checked. We can perhaps clarify this somehow.
