I intend to change the copy. Today you can't copy the selected messages. There are just weird options to copy filename/line number/... and that only works for 1 message as far as I know.
I will change it so the user can copy the selected messages to a plain text format that is similar to the default output format from the command line client:
[file.c:123] (warning) some text [id][file.c:456] (warning) some text [id]...
We could have a "copy..." menu item so the user could choose what is copied and how it is formatted but that is overkill isn't it?

I rarely copy things from the results view, but sometimes i need it for a bug report in a bug tracker or an E-Mail. And then i need all relevant things like filename, linenumber, message.
The id is not important in that cases but it is no problem if it is there.
Since i mostly use the command line and view the results with the GUI it could be useful to copy only the id to add it to the suppression list in the command line script. I can just type it there too, but copying it is less error prone.
IMHO adding the possibility to configure what can be copied is a bit of an overkill, i think i would rarely need/use it.
