I have applied twice and were not approved. I am skeptic about investing more effort in that.
Also I am not sure that this is well suited for small hobby projects. As far as I remember they expect that somebody in the project can be a mentor at full time.

That's terriable. Given the impact of cppcheck on open source c/c++ projects code quality to me it seems like an ideal project to fund. I guess I will have to keep funding the cppcheck kickstarters. I have a baby on the way so the clang kickstarter will probably be my last one for a while as I will be taking some unpaid leave from work for a month or two. Keep up all the good work.
