Just a quick word on why I think that sieve support is important: It appears to me that Sieve is poised to finally standardize mail filtering. Multiple webmail clients support it today, and it's being added to KMail and slowly to Evolution. I look forward to editing my server-side filters from any mail reader anywhere in the world. I won't be bound to a single client to read mail. If I had looser deadlines, I'd love to take a week or two and get maildrop to use libsieve. That would be the best of both worlds. Hopefully in the future... |
