Hi, My system: qmail 1.03 maildrop 2.2.0 vpopmail 5.5.0 with vusaged courier-imap 4.7.0 I am using /etc/maildroprc to filter messages and handle the quota system. When the quota limit is reached, maildrop stops delivery and should send a bounce to the sender. This is the part of my script which supposed to handle this behaviour: exception { xfilter "/usr/local/courier-imap/bin/deliverquota -w 90 $VHOME/Maildir" } if( $RETURNCODE == 77) { to "| /var/qmail/bin/bouncesaying '$EXT@$HOST is over quota'" } } .qmail for all users is: |/usr/local/bin/maildrop Messages are indeed stopped from delivery but no bounce is sent. The log shows this errors: !Err: |/var/qmail/bin/bouncesaying '[email] is over quota' and the qmail log: deferral: [email]_is_over_quota/maildrop:_error_writing_to_mailbox.//usr/local/bin/maildrop:_Unable_to_deliver_to_mailbox./ Also, no quota warn message is sent to the user. What I'm trying to accomplish is a quota and filtering system for my mail server. I have here 2 options: 1. Solving the problem above 2. Without maildrop, vpopmail is handling very well the bounces but I lack the filtering functions. Is there a way to check first for quota (user and domain) using vpopmail and afterwards send the message to maildrop for filtering? Thanks for the help, Arthur |
