From what I read, maildrop accesses first maildroprc and then goes to search for .mailfilter (not sure of the name). Obviously I do not have the latter file because I am not creating the maildirs. The main reason why I tried to create mail directories from maildroprc is because postfix used to this automatically when the first email was sent.
