Basically, as far as Courier is concerned, and assuming Courier and Courier-authlib on your new server were compiled with the same build-time options as on your old server, you need only move the files in the sysconfdir directory and subdirs from the old to the new servers. If you haven't built Courier on the new server yet, run courier-config on your old server and use the options when building Courier on your new server. If, as we do here, you have supporting databases and/or directory trees, then these will either need to be moved to the new server or set up in some fashion so your new installation can access them on the old server. Other than these, and basic principles when setting up a new server, I know of no document specific to Courier on moving an installation from one server to another. -- Lindsay Haisley | "In an open world, | PGP public key FMP Computer Services | who needs Windows | available at 512-259-1190 | or Gates" | http://pubkeys.fmp.com http://www.fmp.com | | |
