Hello. I installed Courier packages from stable version of Debian (version 0.37, mta, mta-ssl, pop3, pop3-ssl, imap, imap-ssl). I generated self-signed cerificates. I set up proper owner/rights to *.pem files. Now, SSL using STARTTLS command via port 25 works quaker:~$ telnet localhost 25 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. 220 quaker ESMTP ehlo quaker 250-quaker Ok. 250-STARTTLS 250-XVERP=Courier 250-XEXDATA 250-XSECURITY=NONE,STARTTLS 250-PIPELINING 250-8BITMIME 250-SIZE 250 DSN starttls 220 Ok but I'm enable to use SSL via 465 port. This is what I get: quaker:~$ openssl s_client -connect localhost:465 [ cut -- cut -- cut ] --- No client certificate CA names sent --- SSL handshake has read 938 bytes and written 326 bytes --- New, TLSv1/SSLv3, Cipher is DES-CBC3-SHA Server public key is 1024 bit SSL-Session: Protocol : TLSv1 Cipher : DES-CBC3-SHA Session-ID: 3CFD2544BE61AC7858624D491A3B56377039302BFBE121D385F1E3442D887B00 Session-ID-ctx: Master-Key: 5AD2F9DFDDAC36251F4CE2F79D35EC443E14F7859641ADA09E559310EB24569491501C1F2D9CB29BDAB9EBF627E2E87C Key-Arg : None Start Time: 1038664243 Timeout : 300 (sec) Verify return code: 18 (self signed certificate) --- 220 quaker ESMTP ehlo quaker and i get nothing, connection freezes, no response, then timeout. What I'm doing wrong ? I've done no modifications to any /etc/courier/esmtpd* configuration files. -- QuakeR |
