The application is unable to connect to the "screen sharing" feature of MacOS X.While we can use the official client, it would be nice to see COV support this. This works with JollyFastVNC.

You have to check the "VNC viewers may connect" box under "Computer Settings" on the Mac running Screen Sharing. CotVNC is basically dead, but direct support for Screen Sharing authentication may be coming to a future version of Chicken:
