It's basically a copy of the "root" branch, that can be later "merged" with the main branch. What are you using to access CVS? it your using Eclipse, it fairly simple to do... the built in CVS access will actually show you what branches and tags are in the source tree. I'll sometimes go into Eclipse simply to browse the versions, when working in another editor ;) - Brill |
