The file README that comes with pmars 0.8 says:
"You are free to modify the source, but may not distribute the modified source or executable without permission by the authors."
This is incompatible with the GPL. The latter allows everyone to change the program and distribute the changes.

No. The intention was to change the licenses of pMARS and jMARS to GPL. However, I could not achieve this for various reasons.
However, the licenses are both open source. I am trying to get an admin to change the license from GPL to "other" (or something similar).
