For example, I use LuaForge (luaforge.net) which also
uses GForge. It'd be nice if I could copher my
releases on to there too.

Good point. I'd to add this feature. I don't currently have
any projects on any other sites to test with, however. If
you'd be willing to test for me, I'll implement this when I
get around to it... might not be too soon. In any case,
    patches are welcome.

Coincidentally, I'm working on a patch to do this for ReleaseForge at the moment (testing with
LuaForge, http://luaforge.net/\). When I've done that perhaps I can look into making a similar patch
for copher. It's basically just a question of using different URLs, and making SSL optional (if
    copher uses that).

Last 'nobody' post was by me, BTW. Second sentence should be
"I'd like to ...". Yes, copher uses SSL. Luaforge doesn't,
eh? That's a shame, but I guess I could make it optional for
copher. I suppose the best option is to 1) Add a list of
known gforge sites with their respective URLs to an
array/hash in copher and also 2) allow the user to configure
additional sites via the text config file.

I'd be willing to test this, of course. If I make another release on LuaForge before you get around to it, I'll look into a patch too.
