In BlockContiPerfClassRunner.java the protected method BlockJUnit4ClassRunner.rules from JUnit is overridden. This method is no longer existent in JUnit version 4.8.2. I could not find a reference to rules in your code and commented it out. It compiled and until now I didn't find any problem with this.
