Basically i want to be able to resize the canvas, the current height and width stretch the object they don't actually resize it, which is kinda pointless as any image will get stretched and will go all crappy which to me seems pointless. So i request a way to actually resize the canvas.

I guess it is a plugin request in a sense, the plugin is one of the defualts, i am asking for a new or changed behaviour.

Think of a "paint application" for drawing and such, if they use the canvas and want it bigger to paint on a bigger canvas, they can't.
