#388 Transitions cause error with variable tracking

I had an object set up such that on collision,

1: Increment a counter once
2: go to next layout with transition Fade lasting 500.

In debug mode, I noticed that the counter continued to increase for as long as the transition was playing. Perhaps the transition should terminate all activity on the layout before running?
