HI, Everybody: Well, I will try to crack the questions about the verb tenses. First, there is no such a thing as futuro anterior: could it be futuro perfecto? As for the preterito anterior is one of the compound tenses: it's build with haber plus the participle as in Yo hube comprado. It presents a past event as "previous" to the past time you are talking about. e.g. Cuando todos se hubieron ido, yo pude limpiar la casa.(IRSE as in "leave," is reflexive thus the reflexive pronoun "se") It translates roughly as "Once everyone had left, I was able to clean the house." It's a way to express the order of events in the past - even in the past some things happened before others. Gee, language is so linear, isn't it? No idea what the name in English is, but has other denomination in Spanish: antepreterito. Whole conjugation of HABER in antepreterito: yo hube, tu hubiste, el/ella/Ud hubo,nos.hubimos,vos.hubisteis,ellos/ellas/Uds. hubieron Hope this helps.
