#4 One-click collapse for the main split pane does not always restore the correct state

When clicking on the "collapse" of the split bar of the main window and afterwards click on the "restore" to go back in initial situation, the initial situation is not restored correctly = the split bar position is wrong.

• Find exactly when this situation occurs
• Fix it.
