Hi,

The Java Client JDBC performance over slow lines or
even the internet with ADSL is simply unbearable. :-((
Could this be improve, any configuration on Oracle!
Could the standard Oracle driver be substitute by other
more performing, even if not free?
I used Bequeath and noticed no improve!
Any ideas?
Are there plans for a WAP client for mobile phones?

The issue is high latency networks. Normal T1 are fine.
Bequeath only works on the server itself.
We plan to create "big objects" on the server and transfer
them via JNP (not JDBC).
