While Comoblog has been branded to support multiple languages it
still has troubles processing posts that include different character
sets. We need to investigate
1. What happens when a post is made that contains odd characters
2. What character set is defined at each HTML.

i have same foreign language character problems in my ONLINE
blog version
http://www.kriyayoga.com/love_blog/index.php/
( a self-modified easymoblog version )
it behaves different between subject line text and body
texts as well ...
however
last year I had once a full - identical - install offline on
a default suse linux 9.x system with ZERO problems in
multilingual text support
hence
i assume it is a HOST configuration problem either in the
default php config
or
in the mysql config
since my host( 1and1 ) stores the mysql database by default
in USASCII - while my entire site, my laptop, all editors,
as well as all pages, RSS, etc are configured since long in
clean utf-8
so i think it may well be more of a host configuration
problem rather than a software comoblog-/easymoblog-problem
- provided that all character definitions in the
blog-templates are configured in that particular foreign
language charset
