I have just successfully completed registering a new user: the email
came, I responded etc. I also received the administration emails
informing me that a new user registered.
On the other hand, I did not receive an email informing me that you had
attempted to register.
I am not clear on what you attempted to do.
Did you register another user with the same email as your user? Because
the email is a key in this process. I would like to understand what you
tried to do so that I can at least catch the exception and give an
appropriate warning message.

ps: been marching with NUMSA (+-10k turnout, red as far as the eye could
see). Haven't been on the streets since 92.
