This is a support Q really but can you drag from one branch of the tree in the left pane to another branch within the same window or do you have to D&D from one window to another??
Sorry about the late response - I didn't know that there was a feature request... I don't think it is possible to drag within the same window for now. Hermes isn't really being actively supported at the moment, unfortunately, so I cannot say when we can add this feature in. Dragging between two browser windows (of the same directory) should definitely work.
Just out of interest, what are you using Hermes for? GridFTP? SRB? iRODS?
